The CT-54 is brilliantly designed for space. Apparently Ted Hood had a lot to do with this. You will be pressed to find a boat that has as much space and storage. Unlike many vessels, the CT's engine room (very accessible) is under the main salon floor; not at room level. This is in effect how the CT has additional space created. The result is the CT-54 has the space typically found in a much larger (65+ ft) boat.

The companionway entrance is that like a ball room flared staircase with a laminated curved banaster and teak balusters. It is grand to see and is one of the show pieces of the CT54s. On either side of the entranceway are ornate carvings. As you enter, you will notice the interior is beautifully finished in mainly solid teak, including the teak ceiling (an extra to look for) which adds elegance. The cabin sole is teak and holly (another extra to look for). Her raised salon design allows a lot of sunlight to enter, making the vessel very bright inside. This boat has MUCH headroom!

Aft is the dinette and galley. Aft thereof is the large master stateroom with queen size bed with adjacent full bath. Forward of the main salon there are 2 guest staterooms and forward of that one crew quarter, and between a separate guest head, changing room and shower room.

The layout sleeps 9 owners/guests in stateroom cabins, plus 2 dinette berths for a total of 13.
